Mask 100 by me HERE
Font i used - Boogiewoogie
ok off we go!!
Open up my Mask and minimise to your system tray
Open up a new canvas 650x650
flood fill with white
Stay on your white background
new raster layer, paste as a new layer a paper of choice
(i used paper3)
layers-new mask layer-from image
click on your drop down and find gemsmasks-100
source luminance checked only.
apply the mask,
go to layers-merge-merge group.
Open frame element8 and resize to 21% of original
paste as a new layer
get your rectangle selection tool select around the frame.
choose a different paper( I used paper8)
resize as before
paste as a new layer selections-invert-delete
Now open elements 09-23 inc.
resize all by 21% of original. We can use the pick tool to resize further if needed.
activate your check masked layer
copy and paste the leaves(element13)
duplicate it twice so you have 3 leaves layers
move one so it shows at the top of your frame
on the other 2 leaves layers go to image-flip and the move them so they are visible at the bottom of the frame.
Move one slightly to the left or right so that they are both visible.
Use mine for reference.
On one of the bottom leaves go to your target brush.
change your foreground colour to a colour from your scrapkit
i used #e37921
now brush over the leaves they will change colour for you.
(you can always go to adjust-hue & saturation-colorise
and change the hue to 22 & the saturation to 112)
Paste your glitter (element21) as a new layer
duplicate.
drop the duplicate below the frame and leaves layers.
place up and to the left.
on the top glitter layer, place to the right go to image-flip.
Use your pick tool to place and angle till you are happy.
Add the rest of your elements placing them with your pick tool
untill you are happy with your results.
Add a light drop shadow to your elements if you wish.
I used 1-2-50-7.00
Add your main tube, if you are using the same one as me,
i resized by 85% of original.
Now activte your paper masked layer,
click on your pick/deformation tool and
using the top and bottom nodes flatten the mask layer out,
so that not so much is showing at the top and the bottom.
Add your name and all © and Licence info.
I applied a small pale halo using eyecandy gradient glow around my name.
Crop off any excess white background and...
Thats it your done!!
You can get a slightly different look if you apply
xero-soft mood with these settings
or this with xero-radiance with these settings.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and i hope you found it easy to follow?
